Aleppo, Syria – At least 7 civilians were reported dead and several others were injured on Thursday, after the pro-regime helicopters bombed Sakhour neighbourhood in the city of Aleppo, north of Syria.
Talking to ARA News, Ismail Aziz, human rights activist based in the city of Aleppo, said: “The pro-Assad helicopters dropped several explosive barrels on Sakhour neighbourhood, causing the death of seven civilians and the injury of several others.”
“The injured were transferred to the field hospital in the neighbourhood, while warplanes targeted Agriculture School in the city of Aleppo with rockets, without recording any casualties,” Aziz added.
Imad Hussein, civil rights activist from the city of Aleppo, stated to ARA News that the pro-Assad warplanes targeted with missiles the town of Darat Azza in the western countryside of Aleppo, killing two civilians and wounding several others.
Meanwhile, the pro-Assad warplanes continued bombing the town of Tel Rifaat and Mare’ city in Aleppo province with heavy machine guns and rockets.
