Qamishli, Syria – Militants of the Islamic State group (IS/ISIS) started strapping explosive belts to chickens, pushing them into “enemies’ locations”, media reports said on Monday.
The Daily Mail said that IS terror group in the Iraqi city of Fallujah released pictures of explosives attached to chickens, in an attempt by militants to blow up strongholds of Iraqi army.
“IS will use whatever means they can to bring death and destruction. Using animals has little military value – it is just another example of how their twisted minds enjoy dreaming up bizarre ways to kill people,” an unnamed British fighter in the ranks of Kurdish forces said.
Speaking to ARA News, Shiyar Omar, director of the monitoring office in the Human Rights Commission of the Auto-Administration in Syria, said that IS is currently resorting to various means in its war against opponents in the region.
“IS used all terrorist methods in its attacks in the region. Last week the terrorist group used chemical agents in an attack on Syrian Kurdish areas. All armed forces fighting against IS should be prepared to unprecedented terrorist methods,” he said.
